Y2 rib cooling high voltage cast iron motors offering more density power than has ever been achieved before.is often use a motor one frame size smaller than other standard products. This helps to save space and enables more compact installations. Y2 compact motors have a rugged cast iron frame. They are rib cooled motors with IC411 cooling and IP55 protection as standard. The motors are also available with IC416 cooling and optional IP66 protection.
Y2 compact high voltage motors cover the output range up to 3200 kW, and they are available in shaft heights from 315 to 630 mm.
